The SPEC MIX® process, has allowed us to be the leader in the construction industry for product performance and delivery. Our first priority is to ensure the integrity and performance of the raw materials used to ensure a quality and consistent product. This begins with our technological approach to blending custom elements including Color, Fibers, Additives and other ingredients. Each custom batch of material uses a state of the art computerized batching system that weighs each ingredient to exacting standards. If the specified mix is not achieved, the computerized system discards the batch and starts over. After producing the finished product, our quality control department, rigorously tests and matches each batch to ensure consistent color, blend and quality. Each pallet / bulk bag of product has a computer generated batch label which contains information of the production of that specific batch including product name, a reference number for materials used in production and a date and time stamp when the item was produced. We also have pallet "hooding" available for both 80 lb. pallets and 3000 lb. bulk bags. Hooding is done by using an innovative stretch hood machine which measures and applies a film hood of the correct length over the pallet without the use of heat. This allows for outdoor storage at the jobsite.(As seen in the image in the top right).

When working with colored mortar, uniform color requires consistent material proportioning. With SPEC MIX, this isn't a problem. SPEC MIX® colored mortar consists of preblended Portland cement or mortar cement, lime and sand to produce uniformity from batch to batch. No field measuring is required. The pigments are specially blended to ensure maximum color effect and proper dispersion throughout the batch.

Containing only finely milled synthetic iron oxides, the strongest and most stable colors available, SPEC MIX® colors are lime-proof, sunfast and inert. The product is environmentally safe while providing a beautiful enhancement to every application. SPEC MIX® meets or exceeds the criteria of ASTM C 270.

SPEC MIX® preblended colors cover the full range of the color spectrum: brown, buff, tan, black, yellow, orange, red and white.
