Through a committee appointed by the 14 general presidents, North American construction unions work with unionized contractors to win construction sites across the country. These maintenance contracts currently include 301 projects in 34 countries, involving 118 contractors. The NMA is planned for work lasting less than one year. NMA is used in facilities such as petrochemical, supply, steel and automotive plants.
